Stock Show 2012

A few weekends ago we went to the stock show with these cuties and had a great time.   I hate stock shows, having been to the all too much either for work or to show at growing up.  Nothing about it was ever fun, well except for the fair food (it's glorious and greasy!)  but going with kids of your own will change your perspective.

 Fort Worth has an amazing children's museum that if you go to the stock show you can get into for free. We had a great time there and can't wait to go back.

Our Summer In iPhone Pictures

This summer was a whirlwind of activities for us, we worked a lot, went to the beach, swam until we were water logged, visited the local zoo and parks and even went to the circus.  Wade really has grown up over this summer, he is definitely not the little toddler that was just learning how to talk and communicate at the beginning of summer.  He now speaks sentences to us and tells us what he wants quite clearly.  It was also the hottest and driest summer on record in Texas this summer, with record breaking heat and fires we did what we could to stay cool and swam a whole lot.  I am glad that the cooler temperatures (think 85-95 degrees) have finally rolled in and that it is fall now :)  Here are some of the pictures of our summer from my iPhone;)

4th of July 2011

We made our flag cake and have been at the pool all weekend:) it has been a great 4th and we feel so blessed to live in a country where men and women fight so that we can celebrate our independence everyday of the year! Happy 4th everyone
