OK so like I said while we were in Milan we hiked up almost 300 stairs to the top of the Duomo. It was a a beautiful view once we got to the top even though I was about to have a panic attack while we were up there. Little did I know that this was not the highest church we were going to hike to the top of (that came in Florence).

Jim taking in the view of Milan from the top of the Duomo.
We even saw Elvis while we were there! (This one's for you mom & Liz ;)

Inside the Duomo in Milan. The stained glass windows were the most spectacular thing that I have ever seen. Their attention to detail in everything they do is just simply amazing. Some of the pictures from yesterday were also from inside of the Duomo.

We were in Milan for a day and a half and then it was time for us to try and navigate the Italian train system. Let's just say that I for one do not know how college kids who decide to backpack around Europe do it. It was difficult to day the least, but we managed and by the last train we took to Venice we had gotten quite a system down.
