Stock Show time is upon us (oh what fun!). Jim was down at Fort Worth working and was about to head to San Angelo for the NRCHA World Finals and was needing some more boots and coats that he had left at the house so Wade and I loaded up and headed down to Fort Worth for the day yesterday. While we were there we visited the petting zoo. Out of all the animals that they had Wade only wanted to play with the bunnies (go figure since neither Jim nor I like bunnies). He would pet some of the other animals but he always went right back to the bunnies.

So I don't like birds but I thought these speckled chickens were pretty cute
And this, Scottish Highland Cow was my favorite. I seriously want one for my pasture although I am sure that it would not make it through the Texas summer at all :(
